About Us

We are a Golf Academy based at Walmley Golf Club, Birmingham. Our primary aim is to make golf accessible, engaging and relevant to everyone in our local community.

We work with a number of local schools and community groups as well as the NHS to help achieve our aim.

As well as community project we are also a leading golf academy specialising in elite to beginner golf coaching

Whether you are new to the game and looking for a new hobby or a seasoned golfer we will be able to help you improve your game and gain more enjoyment from your golf

We use a variety of the latest coaching technologies and slow-motion video capture to further enrich your lesson experience

We are a Safe Golf club: SafeGolf is a partnership of UK golf bodies committed to promoting a safe and positive
environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport of golf.

SAM STUART

Head Teaching Professional

Our Head Teaching Professional Sam Stuart founded Walmley Golf Academy in 2011. Sam's teaching philosophy focuses on the golf ball and what it's telling us about impact rather than does the swing look "correct" as you will see with the best players in the world there is no one correct way to swing a golf club and every one is unique in there method. Sam will work with you and your technique to maximise your results.

Ryan Wall

Assistant Professional

Ryan Wallace is a 3rd-year trainee PGA professional. Ryans main focus to date has been his playing career winning 2018 Warwickshire order of merit as well a 3rd place finish at the WarksPGA Masters. Once qualified Ryan hopes to broaden his career and begin coaching.

Joe Moore

Volunteer

Joe Moore, Walmley Golf Club Junior Captain 2017-2018. Joe is currently studying sport at Sutton college specialising in golf and hopes to turn professional in the near future. Joe completed his level one coaching badge and has begun acting as a volunteer assisting with primary school coaching.
