In 2018 we began talks with Birmingham Vision a local sight loss charity about how we as a club can be more inclusive and welcoming to people who suffer from a visual impairment. A big part of the discussion centred around the construction of new practice and clubhouse facilities we hope to complete in the near future making sure that the new facility offered maximum usability for people with this disability. 

 

Birmingham Vision has also agreed to help with staff training so all of Walmley Golf Club employees have the skills and confidence to make everyone who visits us feel welcome and safe.
